my 32nd birthday

It was a little like I expected and a little not, as there were more neighborhood kids than actual adult friends for some reason, but it was incredibly fun. My friend Dani came up to celebrate with me, and with her and Mary's help we prepared American-style potato salad, cole slaw, burgers and hot dogs - with a huge Paraguayan cake. After a crazy 30^th birthday in Asuncion with Americans, and a 31^st birthday that passed by without notice, I’m glad I had a (mostly) Paraguayan 32^nd.
