Dani and Kyra Visit!!

I was treated this week to an impromptu visit from Dani and Kyra, two volunteers from my group who got rained out of the workshop they had planned so made a quick trip up to Tacuati instead. We celebrated with a huge asado – Guido prepared the meat, and along with Mary my sitemate we made potato salad and carrot slaw and tiny chocolate pudding pies. It was delicious and super fun, even though some of us had to eat dinner with a spoon and dessert with a fork because I don’t have enough silverware for so many guests! Igual no mas! It’s all good. The next day it poured so we had a movie day, and it was a much needed English-only day for us all!
