Once I finish training and get to my site (mid-April) I may have a better local address, but this one will always work.
Here's what the Peace Corps Welcome Book has to say about mail service in Paraguay:
Compared with mail in many developing countries, mail between the United States and Paraguay is relatively dependable (an estimated 70-80 percent of letters arrive). Airmail takes about two weeks to and from Paraguay; surface mail can take months. Packages are often opened, and sometimes items are stolen. We strongly recommend that those sending packages to you make sure that the green customs stickers are placed on them and that the packages weigh no more than four pounds. Packages of more than four pounds usually require personal retrieval from customs, which can be costly and time-consuming. Volunteers report that markings which indicate the contents of a package or envelope are religious in nature provide some protection against theft. They also report that mail service to their sites is sometimes more reliable than mail service to Asunción. Some Volunteers and their families number their letters in sequence to try to keep track of how many have been sent and received. This is a good way to know whether someone is just too busy to write or letters are not arriving for some other reason.
Note that letters can take two weeks or more to arrive, so it's almost time to start writing those letters so I'll get some mail love during those first few lonely weeks of training!!

this looks like a much more legitimate address than the one you had in honduras...will you have internet too?
