A for Effort

Many many thanks go out to my friend Carolyn and her fiance Ben for attempting to come down to Paraguay for a visit this week. They were at the airport when news of a strike in Brazil cancelled all flights to South America, and they can-t reschedule til later in the week, leaving just a few days that would be spent mostly on buses. We-re hoping they-ll be able to reschedule for another school vacation in the next year, and they still get credit for being oh so close to visiting!! Carolyn and I have had many adventures together, from Rio de Janeiro to the Dominican Republic to Brooklyn, and I hope we-ll be able to add Paraguay to that list some day!!
