busy days

After going from a low-point last week with the teachers strike and pretty much having nothing to do, I’ve suddenly been going crazy this week. In a good way, I’ve just had lots of work to do, but it’s funny how it ebbs and flows. My ideal would be a tranquilo and yet productive day, but it seems I’ve got excessively one or the other. Yesterday for example went like this

6am wake up to alarm, breakfast, sweep
7am pass by health center to chat and plan meeting for later
8am pass by municipality to chat and type up inventory of medical supplies
10am print out inventory, help youth write request to mayor for help
11am pass by to confirm meeting dates with Supervisora and 2 teachers
1130am bike
1230pm shower and cook lunch
130pm make photocopies, confirm tomorrow’s charla at the school
2pm prep charla with Supervisora, fill out medical supply request form
230pm prep for youth group meeting with treasurer to update our balance
3pm youth group meeting
4pm pass by health center, see that meeting has ended already, pass by head nurse’s house to plan meeting for Friday instead
5pm beers and dinner with Mary, she helps me prep for tomorrow’s lesson
730pm at home and ready for bed
