year end colacion

This week the youth group closed out the year with our colacion, or graduation ceremony. It was essentially an asado with a few words of congratulations from me and the prez. After much prior debate over the appropriateness of alcohol consumption, the compromise was to have a toast with cider, and then for the kids to have their own party after the colacion where their activities were up to them and their parents (and their money). It was a nice event, and I look forward to starting the year in January talking about their ideas and goals for the coming year.
